Ostomates dating site
Plentyoffish dating forums are a place to meet singles and get dating advice or share dating experiences etc.
Hopefully you will all have fun meeting singles and try out this online dating thing... If you went on a date with a person with a bag and you knew it, would it make a difference in your choice of a 2nd date?
If two Crohn's sufferers marry, the probability of their children contracting Crohn's multiplies dramatically.
I would stay away from a Crohn's patient if I had Crohn's for the same reason Jewish people get genetic testing before they marry: It's too risky! and found lots of supportive people on there, so that one still exists too!
(Don’t worry, I responded with a gracious reply, thanking him for checking out the website.) I often get asked if I’ve ever had a problem dating with an ostomy. Having an ostomy had never once gotten in the way of forming relationships at all.
In fact, I used to hope that it would be a filtering device to keep the jerks at bay… Anyhow, I have had such luck in the dating scene with an ostomy that I began to wonder why.
Lo and behold, I received a message from the UO contact form a few hours later reading: I spent 5 minutes explaining to this guy and a group of his comrades that I shit in a bag (and showed it to them), yet he still managed to check out my website and fill out the contact form just to hit on me. Have I had a hard time finding a guy at all because of it? Since those years, I’ve been asked out multiple times, dated around, and actually been in relationships with a solid number of guys.
This guy asked me if I been on TV because he had remembered seeing me.
(Yes, I had been and you can click if you haven’t seen it yet).
If my vague story isn’t enough to convince you, I encourage you to read It’s In The Bag and Under the Covers by Brenda Elsagher.
It’s a collection of stories told by ostomates and their partners about dating and intimacy and it’s really encouraging.
