Wcf refresh file reference not updating
property for some bindings is set to a relatively small value to limit exposure to denial-of-service attacks.
You can increase this value to prevent the exception.
UPDATE: I'm working with the service running in the ASP. In particular, one thing that you accomplished by creating a new project was that you started a new instance of the Development Server running the changed code.
Restarting the original server might have solved the problem. NET development server, but the code generated still are generated desynchronized.
To fix this error: When a user accesses a Web-hosted WCF service over a remote desktop connection and the user does not have administrative permissions, NTLM authentication is used.
Anytime that I added new service contracts or data contracts, I could simply right click on the service reference in my client project and choose Update Service Reference, and it would update fine.
Before today, the last time that I had updated the service reference was 5 months ago, and at that time it updated fine.
When I select to update the service reference, the following happens: The dialog doesn't show the text "Generating \something\" (can't remember the exact wording) which I would expedct.
If I delete the service reference and add it again, the proxy is properly generated.
